Condor Posted August 11, 2016 #1 Posted August 11, 2016 Sadly I've never been, and at my age probably never will, but I can go vicariously.... I found this on the Indian Page and it's one of the best I've run into. If you're traveling between McDonalds and Shopko... wave... http://www.indianmotorcyclesturgis.com/view-our--live-stream
bongobobny Posted August 11, 2016 #2 Posted August 11, 2016 Yes, that one seems to have very nice definition even on full screen! Right now there's a charcoal Slingshot in the parking lot...

pope3567 Posted August 12, 2016 #6 Posted August 12, 2016 Hey Condor...age is just a number. Sturgis is on my bucket list and I ain't getting any younger. Let's plan on going next year. I'll ride down to meet up with ya and we'll ride out together. Trip of a lifetime, what do you think...? Maybe ride through Jackson Hole and Yellowstone on the way. Ron
bj66 Posted August 12, 2016 #7 Posted August 12, 2016 that is cool i cant remember the bar that burnt down but did they get that rebuilt that place was kinda cool.. i used to watch that show at times The bar that burned down was the Full Throttle. He had a tent there selling beer so you could look at the mess that was left. He bought The Broken Spoke campground north east of Sturgis. It is 7 miles north of Buffalo Chip. I believe it is called The new Full Throttle on the Pappy Hoel Campground or something like that. It is quite a ways north. I heard that when he bought the Broken Spoke which is about 160 acres, he also bought 600 adjoining acres. So it could be really big in the future. He already added another big building along with a huge permanent stage.
videoarizona Posted August 12, 2016 #8 Posted August 12, 2016 Sturgis...went for the 50th. Filmed a lot of the action for an independent company. Lived there for a week. Good time, great people. Memories.....

Ron That would be cool Ron, and if I were 10 years younger I'd be your huckleberry, but lately I can't get motivated to go around the block. That Yreka trip last year hammered me pretty hard with the heat and the busted scoot. BTW 10 years younger and I'd still be an O.F. .... And riding to Ft Collins and back on the '83 was a piece of cake....
Dragonslayer Posted August 12, 2016 #10 Posted August 12, 2016 Dang was that Cowpuc that just rode by? I believe he was eating a hot dog in an Elvis getup.

Ron If you go that way then leave out the north east exit of Yellowstone and ride bear tooth highway. It was rated the number one best road by AMA members. An even better esperience is out the east exit from Yellowstone to Cody. Then north on chief Joseph highway to intersect bear tooth. And ride both amazing roads. Uggh I want to go too and probably will next year. Been 8x in the last 10 years. VentureFar...
