bikerjohn Posted August 4, 2016 #1 Posted August 4, 2016 Anyone useing a firestick for fm antenna? Called the marshal mod I hook it up briefly an it didn't see to picking up any stations Is there something i missed???
Freebird Posted August 4, 2016 #2 Posted August 4, 2016 Well, I am but mine is the Firstick FM antenna. From what I've read though, even the CB version should work fine. I think you have a wiring issue somewhere. Did you run a cable all the way to the front or cut and splice? I cut and spliced when I did mine but it still worked fine. I'm thinking if you did it that way though, maybe you didn't get the connector right.
ReinyRooster Posted August 4, 2016 #3 Posted August 4, 2016 Did that Marshall Mod on my last 1st gen....worked great.
bongobobny Posted August 5, 2016 #5 Posted August 5, 2016 Ummmm, not sure but I think John is talking about FM stations Jack...
Freebird Posted August 5, 2016 #6 Posted August 5, 2016 Yes, but I can also se what Jack may be saying. If the squelch is set too LOW....it may be putting the CB in receive mode all the time and not allowing the radio to play. Not sure that is what he meant but thinking it may be.
