Road Trip - Sleeping Bear NP

Just returned from great 3 day ride up to Sleeping Bear Dunes Nat'l. Lakeshore here in Michigan. Weather a little warm for riding but still a fantastic ride with beautiful scenery especially along M22 on the shore of Lake Michigan. A few pics attached. If you have never visited this park, suggest you see it if possible.

Small world. I just left there. The first two pictures were taken just north of the town of Arcadia. We stay at a place at the bottom of the hill! Was at "the dunes" also, watched the grandkids climb (run) all the way to the bottom, take a quick dip in the lake and climb back up. Took them over an hour round trip. Didja eat any cherries? We also had a successful charter fishing trip (3 salmon, 15 lake trout) out of Manistee. Love Michigan in the summer :-)

M22 is one of our favorite getaway rides! Great road, scenery, restaurants and little places to stop, all the way up to North Port and back town to Traverse City. There are a lot of side roads up and down the peninsulas as well. Looks like you had a great trip!
