2nd gen center stand

anyone know of someone who makes a center stand fora 2nd gen

As you know brother, I have never owned a 2nd Gen but,, I think I remember a company called "Rivco" or "Revco" making a center stand for your scoot my Texas Hero - no idea if they are still available but it does seem they were fairly pricey = close to 400 bucks if memory serves.. Now I will REALLY go out on a springy limb and say that it also seems like I remember something about @Freebird taking 1st Gen Center Stands and converting them over for use on a 2nd Gen - lets see if the Bossman responds with some thing about that John:think:.. Hopefully I dont end up with double club probation (thanks to @Marcarl my recent escape from club probation didnt last very long) for waking the Boss up if I am wrong..

No idea what the mod consist of to convert one or even if I am on the right track there BUT - if Don responds positively about it and can shed some light on what you would be getting into to find success in such an adventure - I would be MORE THAN HAPPY to see if I could come up with a 1st Gen center stand for you to work with!! Least I could do for one of my Texas Hero's who I love!!!

Thinking I also remember someone mentioning that once you add a stand you can no longer use the "Carbon One" lift adapter on your bike lift if you have one - something else to consider brother..

That was something I had not considered. Thanks for sharing that info. Does the center stand REPLACE THE STANDARD SIDE STAND, or does that stay in place as is ??

You keep the side stand.... Rivco still makes them... for now.... if memory serves me they are pushing $400 with shipping added. That one on eBay and a little 0000 steel wool would be a deal....

Rivco was closing them out a couple of weeks ago. They were listed on Ebay for something like $160.00 while they lasted.

Yes, I used to convert first gen stands to work on the RSV. Just a matter of fabricating a bracket for it. Probably built and sold about 150 of them. I don't mess with it any longer but here is a thread that shows how to do it with all dimensions and etc.
