Actually, there is a moving bridge between you two called the Lake Express Ferry. Only takes a couple hours but does cost some bucks to use....about $200-300 each way.:mo money:I plan on using it next month.

Yea I priced that "3 Hour Cruise" It was $500 for a round trip with The Truck, Erika, and myself. The bike would have been more. Let me know when you are coming over. I live closer to the ferry landing than Puc does. I know lots of places for the real good Ice Cream and burgers and even hot dogs, on this side of the pond.

You are correct.....I think one way Muskegon to Milwaukee will be about $280 for Sue and I and the trike with trailer. We will be visiting grandson in Beloit next month but don't have a firm date yet. Will let you know and maybe we can share a dog for lunch ?? We can share Pucster stories......

mirider Posted July 23, 2016 #13 Posted July 23, 2016 @cowpuc - sorry we didn't make your GM&EM event today. Fully intended to head that way but, as a recent thread mentioned, sometimes life gets in the way. Tweaked my lower back yesterday and got up this morning with some soreness but thought I'd be alright until I went out in the garage, hoisted a leg over Big Mac, and immediately felt a sharp pain. Didn't think it wise to ride, even the short distance we had, and decided to rest up today as we are planning on heading up to Sleeping Bear and TC area on monday for 2-3 days. There are still many more events on the horizon I'm sure, so hope to make the next one. Hope you and some other VR varmits had a good time.......
ragtop69gs Posted July 24, 2016 #14 Posted July 24, 2016 You missed a good time, the hotdogs were hot and so were we! 😰 Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

We had a GREAT turnout with lop eared varmints coming from as far away as the east coast of Michigan (hi Carbon One, Joyce, Raggy and Jamie!!).. Like Raggy with the Rag Top (not just his 69 Grand Sport either - watch video,, thats that varmint Raggy with his back turned to the camera) has attested - it was a warm one but we still got er done!!! The featured video is actually about a very intelligent man who was DEFINITELY headed in the right direction - back to the DQ that we settled into last year! Dave - you got my thoughts and Prayers Up for your lower back brother - aint no fun not feeling well! Get feeling better and I hope to see you two at the next: Puc's Meet - Greet and Eat Meat!!!! You missed a good time, the hotdogs were hot and so were we! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk INDEED,,, hot and sticky - think I dumped more water over my head than I actually drank !! Got all the staff up by the stage to for Leroys last song with us and then,, guess what? Leroy came over and signed Tweeksis!!! :dancefool: I think we all made a GREAT impression on Leroy and his band "L.C. Smoove" because he said they are looking forward to returning to us in 2017! THANK YOU to all you varmints who were able to make it - it was GREAT seeing everyone!!
mirider Posted July 24, 2016 #16 Posted July 24, 2016 THANK YOU to all you varmints who were able to make it - it was GREAT seeing everyone!! How did the NEW venue work out across from last year's meeting place. With the :scorched:we had yesterday, i'm sure DQ was a blessing. Once again, cause we couldn't make it. Got to hand it to Larry and Jay, that's quite a ride under the conditions.

Once again, cause we couldn't make it. Got to hand it to Larry and Jay, that's quite a ride under the conditions. Same venue as last time Mi only they didnt have the barricades up so we could get in this time.. Worked perfect!! Larry n Joyce (smartest ones of our bunch FOR SURE) actually caged it over but Raggy n Jamie rode the scoots - HERO'S FOR SURE!! Raggy and Jamie were a little late (I know Raggy - paybacks ) cause they stopped at Grattan to watch Jay's daughter rip up the track there - she is a ripper that girl!! I was like ,,, betcha that was a tad warm out there on the tarmac!! Raggy commented something like - yea,,, and having to wear full leathers in that heat, can ya imagine:scared:
stanG Posted July 27, 2016 #18 Posted July 27, 2016 Well Puc I fully intended to make it to this one, however, just as I was about to sit down for my first beer on Friday afternoon underneath a nice share tree at a friends house, along comes a yellow jacket that stung me on my left pinky. Now I know I have a bee sting allergy but that day I am not carrying an epipen. I tell my friend that we need to go emergency RIGHT NOW. I recall leaving his house and about a mile of the two-mile trip. I came to in the ER about an hour and a half later. I knew it was serious when I realized that I had pissed myself and one of the ER nurses was crying. Apparently I had checked out. No pulse, no BP, and they brought me back. Since my heart had stopped they transferred me by ambulance to the heart wing at a Saginaw hospital and 36 hours of monitoring. Amazingly, no damage, no repercussions, no restrictions. I'm a lucky guy. Lesson learned..... CARRY YOUR EPIPEN! "Have fun out there" stanG
ragtop69gs Posted July 27, 2016 #19 Posted July 27, 2016 Glad to hear you cheated death that day, how many you have left? I've never had a Hot dog with a previously dead guy before hope to soon though!
