Nope, that is where Internet Explorer favorites are, not where Firefox favs are stored.

On my pc, my FF favorites are in:

C:\Documents and Settings\my username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\(Random folder name here)\bookmarks.html

The Application Data folder is a hidden system folder. You will either need to go into Folder Options in My Computer and click the option to Show all folders, or the easy way is to do a search for any file named 'bookmarks.html'. Be advised that there is a file with that name in C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\Defaults\Profile. You don't want that one, it is the one that is used with a new installation of FF, not your customized one.

Good luck.

first thing u need to check is if mozilla changed the user profile......

close mozilla

at start...go to run..type in

firefox.exe -profilemanager

then click ok.........if there is more than 1 profile they will show up.....switch back and forth between the profiles.... open firefox and see if your bookmarks are there.

you can leave it on which ever profile you want to use.....

this has happened to me before

if this doesnt work we have to find your original bookmarks..which aren't hard to find.

My mistake... I thought he'd just installed Firefox and couldn't find the IE favorites. Don't ask me how I came to that conclusion ?????? DUH on me LOL
