after a recent downpour i turned on the radio on my 99 rsv and the display had the headset icon . thinking that water had caused this i turned off the radio and decided to look at it after my holiday.

luckily i read the manual before i had a chance to investigate. turns out that you have to manually select headset or speakers , and its not auto when headsets are plugged in.

i must of inadvertently changed the setting while pressing buttons with gloved hands
