T.J. Posted July 18, 2016 #1 Posted July 18, 2016 I had been having backfires going on for about two years. Had Don sync the carbs at M-Day this year like never before. He did a fine job for sure. Puk had mentioned before M-Day that maybe Gaskets were leaking. I tightened everything before M-Day but still backfired on the way down and still got it on the way back home after M-Day. Anyway I changed out six of the Gaskets. Three on each side and now I am Backfire Free.:happy65:Here are a few pics. I really had to clean out the old gaskets before replacing with new. I used a drum sander to do it. The backfire was really annoying after awhile. I am very happy with the outcome.
cowpuc Posted July 20, 2016 #2 Posted July 20, 2016 and let this be a perpetual, everlasting testament to all who read this article = following Puc does't ALWAYS end in getting lost or some kind of other chaotic disaster
