Mounted my new action cam on my helmet. I'll run one camera or the other camera. It's just this helmet has the smoothest mounting surfaces. It took some finesse with the Gopro mounting to get the correct recording angle. The front of the helmet has too sharp of an angle to hold the adhesive mount, had to move it to the side. When it cools off a bit I'll post a test video.

never seen one mounted from the left side and around the front like that. I only wear full helmet in bad weather so I need to find a mounting location on my cruising helmet. don't really want it on the top or the side. It will be trial and error until I find a good location.

The right side was already "taken" with mounting the Contours+2 camera on the right. I hadn't seen one mounted on the left side either. I got the idea from viewing the motorvlogging sites.

Is the camera on the right mounted using adhesive? I have a video recorder but I'm afraid the adhesive won't hold and I'll lose my video recorder. My recorder is round like the one you have.

Sorry for the delayed response I've been on vacation. Yes it is held on with the 3M adhesive. Ensure you have a flat or curve that fits the mount. Clean with alcohol wipe, warm to room temp, heat the 3M adhesive with a hairdryer. Let sit over night (12 hrs). I doubt it will come loose. Some folks use a 6-8 inch steel fishing leader as a tether to the helmet just it case. To remove the mount from the 3M adhesive you have to saw back and forth thru it with cheap dental floss. See my previous post in the video section on detailed pictures how I mounted it.
