Seems like just yesterday that Tweeks, Tip and I were out west and heard about the "Cannonball Race" with pre 29 scoots getting ready to leave NYC and headed for Frisco.. We boogied to find em - I told Tip I wanted to find em and follow them with the I would get a chance to work on one of them - those older scoots had a tendency to break down once in a while ... IT WORKED (see pics) - I actually got to reinstall a push rod on a JD and was able to get the rider going again - WHAT A BLAST:thumbsup:

 

Wish my health and the timing was a little better - I would be on the road following this amazing outing quicker then you could say "Puc is crazy"!! Really really neat @Carbon One - THANKS FOR POSTING THIS!!

And this goes to show all of us that you can tour on any bike you happen to have. You don't have to wait until you can afford that expensive, mega-cruiser!

Tell you one thing brother,, if I were @dave_wells or part of the group that will be attending his Mid Ohio camping outing thingy - I would be STARING at this years Cannonball Riders route and ride dates very very carefully cause it looks like they are planning on going right thru the heart of OHIO where those folks will be... Sure make for some once in a lifetime/interesting ride opportunity following behind those folks!!!
