GolfVenture Posted July 1, 2016 #1 Posted July 1, 2016 From my last clutch issue, I needed to drains some clutch fluid for I filled it full and the clutch level was way too tight. It sat for about 3 weeks, and I finally got to it. Well when I open the fluid lid the fluid level was down just past 1/2. I looked at the cement floor, I found that it was leaking. It is not leaking from the reseivor. Besides checking tthe bleeding valve, what else can I check?
Patmac6075 Posted July 1, 2016 #2 Posted July 1, 2016 Sounds like a leaking slave cylinder!? Only choice is to remove and either replace or rebuild. There are some articles in the tech section. Most will tell you just get a new one (I'm guessing around $80), but I rebuilt mine....it was easy, and knock on wood hasn't leaked. This is the write up I did, http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?116337-Clutch-Hydraulic-Rebuild-Tutorial
