Well, my Wife and Daughter are out of town.....It is a beautiful day here in Calgary Alberta Canada, sunny and 28 degrees C or 83F for you imperial people....I have been working my Butt off at work...I'm still getting over my jet lag after returning from a business trip to Vienna Austria last week......This all adds up to me NEEDING to play Hookie from work this afternoon and hopping on my bike "Walt" for a ride to the hills, twisty roads, and clean air of Kananaskis Country. :happy34:

Just what the doctor ordered to help clear my head and recharge the batteries! I'm so blessed to have this right outside my front door.:amen:

I strongly recommend it to anyone, come up to my neck of the woods and chase the wind on your bike in our beautiful national and provincial parks. You are ALL welcome up here on the Canadian Tundra, come check it out sometime!

:63:

Great pics ... been through there many times on my '83 Wing when I lived in Calgary (84 - 92)

Now regarding that "chasing the wind" comment ... as I recall, it was generally either pushing at the front of me or tryin to blow me off the side of the road LOL

HA Ha @SilvrT.....You are right on the money about the wind! I didn't mention that part as I'm trying to up-sell to our American friends so they come visit....Since Oil prices are down, tourism is our only other option here in Alberta before the province goes bankrupt!:rotf: Not like you British Columbia folk who are rolling in the dough!

But if you are lucky enough to get a tail wind, you can turn the key off and let it push you home. Just flip open the rear truck lid on the 1st gen and you got an extra sail!:happy65:

Good come back Riv,,, thinking Silv may have forgotten that a lot of us American riders have to travel thru places like Wyoming and Montana to get to see the places you posted about.. Out in those states, chasing the wind would be an understatement!!:big-grin-emoticon:
