bongobobny Posted June 21, 2016 #1 Posted June 21, 2016 There's a fellow in Louisiana that has "magically" developed 4 way flashers on his RSTD after disassembling to paint, unplugging some connectors, and then reassembling. I wanted to try to help but I can't seem to find a schematic anywhere on the site or on the web...
Flyinfool Posted June 21, 2016 #2 Posted June 21, 2016 The turn signal part might be close enough to a 2nd gen to get some clues from that wiring diagram. Just a WAG here.
BlueSky Posted June 21, 2016 #3 Posted June 21, 2016 What is the year and exactly what does RSTD stand for? I have a CD that may have all the manual information on it.
Flyinfool Posted June 21, 2016 #4 Posted June 21, 2016 Royal Star Tour Deluxe. It is kind of like a stripped down RSV.
bongobobny Posted June 21, 2016 Author #5 Posted June 21, 2016 I think the guy said 2002 but not sure. They should be all the same...
bongobobny Posted June 21, 2016 Author #6 Posted June 21, 2016 Jeff, the thing is, RSV's have 4 way flashers but apparently RSTD's do not!!
BlueSky Posted June 22, 2016 #7 Posted June 22, 2016 Okay, I copied the diagram from my pdf CD and pasted it on a word document. It is slightly larger than the forum will allow me to post so if I could get an email address I'll email it.
BlueSky Posted June 22, 2016 #8 Posted June 22, 2016 Royal Star Tour Deluxe. It is kind of like a stripped down RSV. The reason I asked to be sure was my CD has about 30 shop manuals and some are for the Road Stars.
vzuden Posted June 22, 2016 #9 Posted June 22, 2016 Jeff, the thing is, RSV's have 4 way flashers but apparently RSTD's do not!! The RSTD has the cruise power switch on the right grip near or at the location of the Venture 4 way switch since there isn't a fairing.
bongobobny Posted June 22, 2016 Author #10 Posted June 22, 2016 Okay, I copied the diagram from my pdf CD and pasted it on a word document. It is slightly larger than the forum will allow me to post so if I could get an email address I'll email it.my screen name at yahoo.. Thank you kindly!!
KSRIDER10 Posted June 24, 2016 #11 Posted June 24, 2016 The Clymer Royal Star 1996-2003 manual includes color schematics for the XVZ1300A,AT,LT, and 1999 and up TF models. Say, where do you folks find the map that you can fill in the States visited by motorcycle?

KSRIDER10 Posted July 1, 2016 #13 Posted July 1, 2016 Pardon my ignorance, but what is "sig.", and where do I find it?
Freebird Posted July 2, 2016 #14 Posted July 2, 2016 Signature. If you edit your profile there is a place to create your signature. It is where the maps and etc. are shown in peoples posts.
KSRIDER10 Posted July 2, 2016 #15 Posted July 2, 2016 I must be monumentally stupid because I cannot find "signature" anywhere on the "My Profile" page, nor does it appear when I edit a category.
Freebird Posted July 2, 2016 #16 Posted July 2, 2016 No, your not stupid, I just told you wrong. Click on "settings" at the upper right corner of this page. Then you'll find "signature" in the left menu.
Freebird Posted July 2, 2016 #18 Posted July 2, 2016 No problem. Sorry for the wrong info the first time.
