2006 venture over heating

my 2006 midnight venture has started over heating. any one know what to look for. I can not find any coolant leaks

When did you change the coolant last? Did you check the reservoir under the seat?

 

If it isn't this....then there is a thermostat (like in a car) that is probably sticking or not opening enough.

Does the electric cooling fan come on?

I too would be looking towards the thermostat. If fan is comming on, it really should drop temp quickly.

I would pull the tank and check the coolant level in the radiator.
