OK Maintenance Day has OFFICIALLY started!!

Just got back from a rescue mission. Seems that Steamer and Rockin' Robin got as far as Clarence NY on the NY State thruway and stopped at a rest stop. Put key in ignition, turned key, and absolutely NOTHING! No lights, no nothing! Well, they called AAA and made arrangements to get towed to Big Tom's place. Slight problem, Big tom is at Ft. Lost in the Woods, MO to see his grandson graduate from Basic Training, and taters was at work. Sooo, they called me and I said I would meet them over there. After a little over the phone troubleshooting we decided that the most likely cause was either the ignition switch took a dump, or the battery gave up the ghost! Well, I was planning on buying a new battery for myself as an emergency backup, so stopped at the local Auto Zone and picked up a nice new AGM. Got over there, Steamer already had the battery out, so we dropped in the new one and Viola, it comes back to life!! I had brought my load tester with me, and even though it was reading 12 volts, with the load test id dropped into the lower part of the weak area on the meter.

Anyway, by now they should be close to the PA border as I type...

Like others, I have been excited about making it to Maintenance Day again this year but unfortunately, my father-in-law has just passed away and I will not be able to join the group from SW Ontario. Best wishes to all for good weather and even better fellowship. It's a great event!
