Freebird Posted June 8, 2016 #1 Posted June 8, 2016 Those of you who have been here before know most of this but just a reminder. We have rented a porta john again this year. It is requested that the men use it and let our wonderful ladies use the restrooms in the house. I have place a gas grill beside the Gazebo. There will be a full tank of gas. Those of you who are camping are more than welcome to use it. I am draining and refilling the hot tub today. It will be completely clean and sanitary so feel free to bring your swimsuits if you would like to. Swimsuits are required for all men. Women can be approved to go nude with my prior approval. Campers are welcome to use the shower in the house but please bring your own towels. There will be a lunch on Saturday. We have ordered food as usual and it will be delivered around noon. We changed it up a bit this year and ordered fried chicken with all the fixings. There is no set cost for lunch but will be a donation can out as usual to help cover the costs. Lunch, drinks, coffee and etc. usually run us between $1,000.00 and $1,200.00 so donations are appreciated. There will be a 50/50 drawing and also a drawing for a few door prizes as usual. I didn't go out and buy anything this year though I still may...we'll see. At this time, we have two BaggerShield windshields, a Hopnel tank bib, leather grip covers with fringe, some nice wood items custom made by Hummingbird. 50/50 tickets are usually $1.00 each if I remember correctly and door prizes ... I don't remember...we'll figure it out. I have most tools that will be needed for any maintenance that you want to do on your bikes. If you plan to do oil changes and etc., you will need to bring your oil and filters or there is an Advanced Auto and a Walmart about 2 1/2 miles away. Soft drinks, water, coffee are provided. If you want to enjoy a beer or other alcoholic beverage when we are sitting around in the evenings you are more than welcome to do so but they are not provided. Smoking is not allowed in the house but you are more than welcome to smoke outside. There will be ashtrays placed all around. I'm sure that I'm missing something so if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Dragonslayer Posted June 8, 2016 #2 Posted June 8, 2016 What's your address so I can plug into GPS. I can find Oberlin but I'm not sure I remember how to get to your place.
XV1100SE Posted June 8, 2016 #3 Posted June 8, 2016 You didn't mention the use of your wave riders in the pond....and etiquette around the pond monster.
Flyinfool Posted June 8, 2016 #4 Posted June 8, 2016 Sounds good to me. Have you sat down and had a talk with your weatherman yet to be sure that we have and not ?
Freebird Posted June 8, 2016 Author #5 Posted June 8, 2016 You didn't mention the use of your wave riders in the pond....and etiquette around the pond monster. LOL....not quite enough pond for the Waverunners. as for the Pong Monsters....I didn't see them last year but I'm not counting them out.
Freebird Posted June 8, 2016 Author #6 Posted June 8, 2016 What's your address so I can plug into GPS. I can find Oberlin but I'm not sure I remember how to get to your place. 16898 Hawley Road, Oberlin, 44074
Dragonslayer Posted June 8, 2016 #7 Posted June 8, 2016 Are FROG gigs and harpones still allowed for the pond monsters?
ReinyRooster Posted June 8, 2016 #10 Posted June 8, 2016 Don....I'm confused, but that seems to be the norm lately.....in another post I saw an address of: 5150 Liberty Ave, Vermilion, OH 44089....different then the one in this post....need to know which one to put into the GPS.
Freebird Posted June 8, 2016 Author #11 Posted June 8, 2016 The Vermillion address is the location of Quaker Steak and Lube for the Friday night dinner.
Flyinfool Posted June 8, 2016 #12 Posted June 8, 2016 In this case rock salt may be the appropriate tool to start the seasoning process.
ReinyRooster Posted June 8, 2016 #13 Posted June 8, 2016 Thanks Don......didn't think that sounded like your home street.
Dragonslayer Posted June 8, 2016 #14 Posted June 8, 2016 In this case rock salt may be the appropriate tool to start the seasoning process. Birdshot works for the nocturnal lake lizards and for the snipe hunt.
10spd Posted June 8, 2016 #15 Posted June 8, 2016 I'll be up Saturday morning. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk

Who was that member we used to refer to as the Rainmaker? Is he coming this year?
