M61A1MECH Posted June 8, 2016 Share #26 Posted June 8, 2016 The cheapest I've found the chrome passenger floorboards is here. http://www.bikebandit.com/oem-parts/detail/yamaha/5s7-f74b0-v0-00/b2822202?gclid=Cj0KEQjwvtS6BRC8pcKn8OXIg_wBEiQAqtpiz6LTsTSimWCniNtBmzSI09QUACJsiM4urju5hto7FyYaAnhf8P8HAQ They show no picture but if you search that part number you will find plenty of pictures. Here is an Ebay listing for $190.00, http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/381641891600?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true
slowrollwv Posted June 8, 2016 Share #27 Posted June 8, 2016 The seat is the Russell Daylong. Passenger backrest is a Corbin that I had them recover to match. I am ok without the motor mount covers and not all that crazy about the chrome side covers. I like them in the black. I really don't want much more. I am honestly pretty much done with it. There are a handful of things that I will add at some point. First will be the chrome passenger floorboards but the cheapest I've found them is $204.00. I will also eventually add the wind deflectors that attach to the crash bars. The last thing will probably be the SpeedoHealer. Do you want me to hold on to a set of the chrome deflectors that I was making for that area?

slowrollwv Posted June 9, 2016 Share #32 Posted June 9, 2016 Don these are replacement blades for the plastic deflectors that keep cracking. They will adjust the same as the plastic ones.
slowrollwv Posted June 9, 2016 Share #33 Posted June 9, 2016 Hey Chuck, if you have an extra set after Don gets his, let me know. Thanks, Craig Craig I have two sets left. My son took a load of junk in to the scrap yard last week and these parts were missed when he loaded the truck. These two sets are the last of the things that I was making. 2WHEELSFORME Posted June 10, 2016 Share #40 Posted June 10, 2016 I don't think floorboards are exactly beautiful things. Instead of chroming I black powder coated the rear boards so that they somewhat disappear. Follows the theme of the black out on the midnight. Blacked out several more items like the rear crash bars and the gaudy fender tips. Removed some chrome like the fairing strips of useless chrome and the piece on the rear box and painted some others. The front boards get hard used and scraped so often any finish would get damaged.
TDbiker Posted June 10, 2016 Share #41 Posted June 10, 2016 Do you have any pictures of what you've blacked out. Sounds intriguing...
2WHEELSFORME Posted June 10, 2016 Share #42 Posted June 10, 2016 Do you have any pictures of what you've blacked out. Sounds intriguing... Old picture. I have since removed the tall antennas and the front brake disc covers. Also painted the four clear plastic deflectors. Looks much better to me than clear. The chrome trim under windshield is also painted black. http://s45.photobucket.com/user/2wheelsforme/media/Vundercover.jpg.html?o=
