Motorcycle Freindly accomodations - certifed motels and hotels

It sure would be great for all of us bikers if Motels, Hotels, B&B's across the land would compete in / join in, on adding a Motorcycle Friendly certification to their bragging wall.

 

Certifications for these hotels, motels and B&B's would be acquired to ensure that the motorcyclist will have a high-level service which are to be found on the same level at all the certified hotels.

The most important part of this certification is that motorcyclists are welcome.

 

Such issues as these need to be addressed or included to be able to achieve such a certification:

• Secure parking for motorcycles (paved preferred)
  
• Breakfast/lunch box to take-away
  
• Flexible meal times if restaurant is on site
  
• Motorcycle route maps available to meet each motorcycle riders needs
  
• Promotion of motorcycle events in the area
  
• Storage for helmets and jackets
  
• Drying facilities
  
• Washing area for cleaning the motorcycle
  
• Maintenance area with "some" tools
  
• Weather forecast for next 5 days
  
• Corporation / coordination with local motorcycle garages if major repairs are required
  
• And always having ....cold beer available.... .... I mean cold drinks available.

Sound like a good idea, not sure you could get any chains to do this but the smaller ones maybe.

Oh I gets it. Your one of them there passive instigators. It ain't a bad idea. I betcha if you put your head to it there might be some green backs in it for ya.
