cwhite123174 Posted July 21, 2016 #26 Posted July 21, 2016 I got my JL Audio Bluetooth set up yesterday...just waiting for my other connections. Should be here tomorrow. Will probably try to install it Saturday night... Supposed to have a heat index here in Iowa of 120-130. Kind of excited to have a setup that I don't have to worry about recharging all the time.
Freebird Posted July 21, 2016 #27 Posted July 21, 2016 I've used mine several times now. Love it. Radio Shack had the cables if yours don't come soon.
cwhite123174 Posted July 21, 2016 #28 Posted July 21, 2016 I tried. They apparently were sold out. He was actually too lazy to go back and check his stock room. That's what I think anyway.
cwhite123174 Posted July 25, 2016 #29 Posted July 25, 2016 Installed mine over the weekend. So far it works flawlessly! I am quite excited to not have to have something plugged in or charged! Not having to worry about my other Bluetooth going dead on my big ride in a few weeks makes me grin from ear to ear!
Kirby Posted August 7, 2016 #30 Posted August 7, 2016 Just brought my RSV into the 21st century today. Got the same bluetooth hookup. Works great . May get ride of my Venture mp3 player now. Spotify sounding good. Had to go to a flea market to find the adapter but all is good now.
cwhite123174 Posted August 7, 2016 #31 Posted August 7, 2016 It's a great investment. I have put 1000 miles on my bike since my install and it works perfectly every time.
Rafterd Posted August 11, 2016 Author #32 Posted August 11, 2016 I found an old iPhone I wasn't using, wiped it clean, filled it with music, and use it as a music player. Bluetooth works perfect.
djh3 Posted August 12, 2016 #33 Posted August 12, 2016 I can say, my CD player never made a long distance trip. It eats to much room up. So I ran a Y plug to aux in and my phone and used Pandora for a long time. On the Victory it has a connection for the Ipod and handlebar controls. Now that I have learned sort of how to load music and use it, I like it. RAM X mount your phone/Ipod and you should be pretty good to go.

Guest divey Posted August 15, 2016 #35 Posted August 15, 2016 intersted in venture mp3 if you want to get rid off it @Atoolnut Les I found the kit but wanted to send you a pic of it to make sure it's what you need/want. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to attach the pic to your reply. PM me your email address and I'll send the pic that way. Thanks...Doug
Mover Posted August 28, 2016 #36 Posted August 28, 2016 Is there a good place inside the fairing to ground the Bluetooth receiver?
Freebird Posted August 29, 2016 #37 Posted August 29, 2016 Yes, plenty of places to ground it. I grounded it to one of the screws on the radio bracket.
Kirby Posted August 29, 2016 #38 Posted August 29, 2016 Yes, plenty of places to ground it. I grounded it to one of the screws on the radio bracket. Me too!!
