sfcrader Posted June 4, 2016 #1 Posted June 4, 2016 I went ahead and purchased a set of passing lamps from eBay to go along with me new headlamp. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-30W-4-5-inch-Cree-LED-Harley-Motorcycle-Daymaker-Auxiliary-Fog-Driving-lights-/361250657595?fits=Make%3AHarley-Davidson&hash=item541c37953b:g:lnIAAOSw3mpXL-W5&vxp=mtr I found out that the back of the light needs to be modified or find a smaller hollow bolt. I went with he modification, the center rid needs to be trimmed back in order to use the stock hollow bolt: Old and new passing light installed: Lights on side by side look: Old passing light look: New passing light look: All new just need to adjust the lights tonight:
flynvy5 Posted June 13, 2016 #4 Posted June 13, 2016 I did mine about a month ago but I cut the stock bolt down by half and it worked great.
Wizard765 Posted June 14, 2016 #5 Posted June 14, 2016 Looks amazing and if the light is better than stock Wow!! Are you experiencing any interference with your radio?
sfcrader Posted June 14, 2016 Author #6 Posted June 14, 2016 Thanks, yes they are a lot better than stock and take less amps to use. So far no interference at all.
Rafterd Posted June 25, 2016 #8 Posted June 25, 2016 Installed my headlight got ready to install driving lights and guess what, they fell through the rims. My driving lights are 4 3/4 inch new ones are 4 1/2. Any ideas? Bill
sfcrader Posted June 26, 2016 Author #9 Posted June 26, 2016 Not sure, do you have OEM passing lamp? also with passing lamps did you get?

Kretz Posted May 25, 2017 #12 Posted May 25, 2017 Looks identical to the ones I got, Main & Passing, all I got to do now is get off my a$$ & get them fitted! LOL
sfcrader Posted June 16, 2017 Author #13 Posted June 16, 2017 Yes for me, what headlight is that. I purchased the headlamp on ebay it was around $100 not sure what brand. I will go back and look, I do remember it did saying Daymarker.
sfcrader Posted June 16, 2017 Author #14 Posted June 16, 2017 How did you mount headlamp I tried something that did not work. Than I found this website:http://venture.eurekaboy.com/headlightmod.htm I purchased a used headlamp off ebay and used that one to cut. I took my time did not want to rush and spent a complete weekend. The hardest part is trimming both the buckets and the back of the headlamps and passing lamps.
sfcrader Posted June 17, 2017 Author #16 Posted June 17, 2017 This is another thread I started that showed what I had to do to make the LED Headlamp work. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?119811-Changing-to-a-LED-Headlamp hope it helps.
