pick Posted June 4, 2016 #1 Posted June 4, 2016 Doing the PCW clutch upgrade and Venture Rider instructions say to make sure clutch plates installed in same manner as removing? Says single notch at 11 o'clock and double notch at 5? When I took off my cover, single notch was at 1 O'clock, double at 7 ? Is this an issue? I had no problems before other than a minor slippage?
Du-Rron Posted June 4, 2016 #2 Posted June 4, 2016 your clutch pak will rotate to any position if you are in neutral
bostonlawman2003 Posted June 4, 2016 #3 Posted June 4, 2016 I'll be doing this upgrade next weekend, hadn't thought of this before. Should the bike be in gear or in neutral before opening up the clutch?? Or does it matter? Thanks guys
Du-Rron Posted June 4, 2016 #4 Posted June 4, 2016 i did mine in neutral. see here http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?10518-Clutch-Upgrade
pick Posted June 4, 2016 Author #5 Posted June 4, 2016 Ok, thats kinda what I thought, just simply put em back in the way they came out Thanks
RedRider Posted June 4, 2016 #6 Posted June 4, 2016 The PWC instructions were done on Pacific time. You are on the east coast and need to compensate a couple of hours. Other than that, the other info on here is more helpful. (I did mine in neutral) RR
k9cottage Posted June 5, 2016 #7 Posted June 5, 2016 did mine in neutral but as i am in tasmania it was hard doing it upside down:rotfl:
