identifying an I clutch basket

Hey guys! I have a guy interested in buying my clutch basket but I want to make sure I sell him the right one.

 

Looking through past posts it says on the outer gear on the back side of the basket that a letter and a number shOuld be engraved on it.

 

Mine says

 

124 on the back of it but I see no letter.

 

The 1 looks like it couldve been an I someone did a bad job of writing in.

 

So does anyone have a picture of where the label is?

There was a thread with a pic in it but when I clicked the link to it (which is in another thread), it didn't work coz the thread was missing.

I just spent the last 20 minutes trying to find it again with no luck. It's a link in a post pointing to another post on a different thread (that appears to be missing). I'm pretty sure it was from back around 2009 or 2010

 

Trying to find things with the search is sometimes a PITA.

If I remember correctly the pic you're refering to had the 'G' plainly stamped on the back of the basket. Not sure I've ever read about one that had a number. Did a Google to see if there might be another on the web somewhere with no luck...

I can't find that picture for some reason. I did restore the pictures in the first post. You can see in the second picture where it is inscribed "G".. it would be just like that but with an "I".
