StarFan Posted April 13, 2008 #1 Posted April 13, 2008 Maybe I should see a shrink. Had been following this bike on eBay item number: 190214574057 and made a bid. Was the highest one at auction end but reserve not met. The owner offered me a second chance through eBay and I took it for a "Buy It Now". A lot of shrink hours in that sum. Maybe it is just better to loose control from time to time and spend it on Royal Stars. Don´t know but maybe there is some hypnotizing effect in that Camellia Green color. I already have an identical bike - exactly the same - color and everything, tell me I aint crazy please,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Freebird Posted April 13, 2008 #2 Posted April 13, 2008 Jonas, Congrats. You don't need no shrink...well....maybe you do but if that's the case, then all of us probably do. One word of warning. There are a LOT of bogus second chance offers being sent out on Ebay. PLEASE verify that the offer actually came from the owner before sending any money.
StarFan Posted April 13, 2008 Author #3 Posted April 13, 2008 Jonas, One word of warning. There are a LOT of bogus second chance offers being sent out on Ebay. PLEASE verify that the offer actually came from the owner before sending any money. Thanks for the concerne Freebird. I have already talked with the owner on the phone. It is genuine. Ebay also had his second offer in my eBay mail box and the bike was relisted for 24 hours as a second chance offer. Address and name checks out at PayPal so I am good to go. But like you said - there are bogus offers swirming around and one needs to make precautions. I have been doing business on eBay for 8 years but still I run across a new scam from time to time.
FROG MAN Posted April 13, 2008 #4 Posted April 13, 2008 How many times have I told the wife. Honey I got to take a little trip next weekend. Arkansas,Florida,Maine,Michigan,North Carolina,Virginia that bid now button just has a certain irresistible attraction when it says Yamaha. I'm in Ebay recovery with good therapy. It's called being broke but happy.I also ran out of garage space.
Ferrantelli Posted April 14, 2008 #5 Posted April 14, 2008 Jonas, you sound perfectly fine to me. Why would you need a shrink you just bought another bike perfect stress reliever whether working on it or riding it. I have 4 bikes, wife loves it, if not with her I am in my garage. Non riders think we are crazy but they are the ones that need the shrinks. Hmm.. come to think I am getting the itch again.
86er Posted April 14, 2008 #6 Posted April 14, 2008 Don't worry about it, Jonas. You just have the same medical malady that many of us here suffer from: MBD Multiple Bike Disorder At last count I have 7 bikes in the garage (3 run) and 6 in the back yard under tarps! Welcome to the support group!
Mordalo Posted April 14, 2008 #7 Posted April 14, 2008 My wife changed my Ebay and PayPal passwords... It for the best.

AKRefugee Posted April 14, 2008 #10 Posted April 14, 2008 As the TShirt says "I've never seen a motorcycle parked outside a psychiatrist's office". I guess that means that the more bikes you have the "more mentally healthier" you are From what I have seen on this sight there are some really "healthy" folks here???
StarFan Posted April 14, 2008 Author #11 Posted April 14, 2008 My wife changed my Ebay and PayPal passwords... It for the best. Mordalo. I offer you my greatest sympathy.

Orrin Posted April 14, 2008 #13 Posted April 14, 2008 Jonas, great looking ride. Have fun. Let us know how you get it home.
StarFan Posted April 14, 2008 Author #14 Posted April 14, 2008 Jonas, Let us know how you get it home. I will keep you guys posted as things progress. It is a two months process from USA to my garage. Patience,,,,,,,,,,patience,,,,,,,,thats the key to it. Might bug you guys to get some SeaFoam for me and ship to the seller of the bike so he can put it in the saddlebags. Can´t get the stuff here in Iceland and no store will ship it to me. So know is maybe the chance. Will of cause check first if the seller can get this for me. I know he travels a lot so maybe he will not have the time. We will see what happens. Sea Foam I would of cause pay on forehand with a comission and postal fee. What about one gallon for me and I will pay one for you? Gotta know a good deal when you are offered one - Right?
