After several beautiful 70 deg plus days, it has decided to go back down in tbne 40's mist rain and generally be rotten. So in my broedom of this raining Sunday I thought I would review the progress made so far in the first month of Venture Ownership and take some updated pictures.

First and foremost is this site!! Tons of great ideas, dramtiacally shortened the learning curve on ins and outs of my new bike, plus nmade some great new friends!

Also I have started down the path of spending tons of money on accessories just for the fun of it, thank god I have a wife that thinks like me :big-grin-emoticon:

Anyway here is what I came up with and some updated pics, nothing fancy but I am having SOME fun:sign woo hoo:

Updates so far.........

Carb Sync

Rear Hub Assembly Re-greased and Shimmed

Change over to Synthetic Oils

Yamaha Chrome Choke Knob

Baron's Nasty Boys 4-2-4 Pipes

Baron's Extreme Slash Tips

Yamaha Passing Lamps

Yamaha Light Visors all around

Yamaha Chrome Oil Fill Plug

Yamaha Chrome Star Trunk Rack

Yamaha Star Billet License Plate Frame

AIS Plugged

R-Mark Quick Saddlebag Removal System

Here are some pics, also one of Deb's bike taken last weekend with her winter add on's down by the river.

As I have said I'm a lucky man to have a wife that understands the passion.

Never a bore to see pics of a beautiful scoot, good to hear that the site is helping you out. The more money you save with good advise, the more chrome or fuel you get to put in the bike

:)

Yup, looks like you found the tech pages alright. Nice work. There's nothing boring about looking at other's bikes. There's not much else to do today anyway, other than plan more mods, which is what I'm doing. It's drizzling and cold here too. My mods are usually aimed at more power. I hope to meet you at Dons' maintenance day.

Those 4-2-4's look really great.

Are they really loud?

A subjective answer but, at idle they have a mean low rumble, but they bark when you get into them! Deb says they sound like a mean hopped up Chevy more that a motorcycle. Personally I love em!

I'll try and put a little video sound clip of em up in the next few days if I get time.
