Shibumi Posted May 10, 2016 #1 Posted May 10, 2016 Hey guys, I have a 99(new to me) venture and am planning on removing stock audio equipment. Hand control, modules, wiring etc. (Cassettes in the garbage). I looked on ebay and found the pieces I want to sell to see the prices they go for and they seem a bit "high". I'm not trying to get rich off of the stuff but I'd atleast like to make something to make up for the aftermarket audio components I'm planning ya know? Is their a market for these things and am I asking In the right area? (New to forums) Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
Freebird Posted May 10, 2016 #2 Posted May 10, 2016 Maybe the Radio and GPS forums would be better but your question is OK here. I will point out though that for sale ads are not allowed in the forums though, only in the classifieds section. It's ok though to get some input on the values.
Shibumi Posted May 10, 2016 Author #3 Posted May 10, 2016 Thanks, now to figure out how to do that haha Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
bongobobny Posted May 10, 2016 #4 Posted May 10, 2016 Hmmm, around here 2nd gen radio stuff isn't in high demand but occasionally there is a market for it. I agree totally the prices on ebay are out of this world...
uncledj Posted May 10, 2016 #5 Posted May 10, 2016 I may be interested in the hand control if it's compatible with my 06, PM me and we'll see if we can work something out.
bongobobny Posted May 10, 2016 #6 Posted May 10, 2016 Uncle DJ yes the entire audio system is the same for all RSV's no matter which year.
Shibumi Posted May 18, 2016 Author #7 Posted May 18, 2016 Are the "modules" worth anything? One on top of cassette player and one in rear of bike. I think one is ra radio module and other is cb related??? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

bongobobny Posted May 18, 2016 #9 Posted May 18, 2016 The one from the back of the bike, under the trunk, is the CB radio. The components in the fairing are the tuner and audio components, besides the cassette deck... The unit on the handlebars is the controller for the whole system, CB included.
