Mike from Ohio Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 I have a 2008 RSTD and have discovered if you are not careful on a hard stop it is easy to lock the rear wheel. I vaguely remembering reading somewhere that there is a type of brake pad that can lessen the chance of the rear wheel locking. Does anyone have any information on these pads? Thanks, Mike
eagleeye Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 OK, I found what you need. Rick/Butt Butler was doing this, but don't know if he is anymore. Here is the link: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?13098-Brake-Proportioning-Valve-The-Butler-Mod One more thing, if you would run a CT on the rear that would help.
