Mike from Ohio Posted May 4, 2016 #1 Posted May 4, 2016 I have a 2008 RSTD and have discovered if you are not careful on a hard stop it is easy to lock the rear wheel. I vaguely remembering reading somewhere that there is a type of brake pad that can lessen the chance of the rear wheel locking. Does anyone have any information on these pads? Thanks, Mike
eagleeye Posted May 4, 2016 #2 Posted May 4, 2016 OK, I found what you need. Rick/Butt Butler was doing this, but don't know if he is anymore. Here is the link: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?13098-Brake-Proportioning-Valve-The-Butler-Mod One more thing, if you would run a CT on the rear that would help.
