LPL John Posted April 17, 2016 #1 Posted April 17, 2016 Hey, Would like to have a manual on my 2012 Venture. Any recommendations ? I see the Clymer ones that go to 2010 and wonder if they would be okay. PS: I'm real green with your site (s), but looks mighty good, helpful, and well thought out. Thanks:D:D

Freebird Posted April 17, 2016 #3 Posted April 17, 2016 If you do want a hard copy, the one to 2010 will be find. Any of them from 1999 - the end will be fine. There were no differences. I think that the Yamaha manual is the best though.
LPL John Posted April 18, 2016 Author #4 Posted April 18, 2016 Thanks, folks. Probably be a while before it would need anything, but....... I'm the kind that has to read up on it and have a manual in the garage. Have owned 8 other bikes over the years and racked up some miles. Wish there had always been a site like this. Ride safe.

LPL John Posted June 5, 2016 Author #6 Posted June 5, 2016 Thanks, Gray Ghost. That was helpful. Hope all is well for you folks in Texas.
Du-Rron Posted June 6, 2016 #7 Posted June 6, 2016 careful reading the factory manual. use the nm reading for torque specs given. sometimes the ftlb measurements in the book are way wrong. like... 51 ftlbs on a 4mm bolt
