That wind speed is hell, just no other way of calling it. I have a DQ app on my phone but not all of them are on it. I haven't told her.

Well I went riding around town and on the highway....pretty much full throttle a lot of the time.....never beat on my bike so much before but it was sooooo fun. I found out my RSV will go 120 mph on gps...took a while but felt like it might have some left. Funny thing was ingot 32 mpg on that tank with beating the hell out of my bike....WOT a lot of the time and 100 mph several times (showing a Harley and my old Roadstar what a V4 does from 60 up).....

Really liking this big ol tank of a bike....

Since you hammered a Harley I must relate my experiences over 125,000 mile in 8 years, 49 states, 8 provinces, and many IBA rides aboard my Honda VTX 1300 R.

I don't race anyone. With that said, in all of that riding I have had 3 Harleys pass me on the open highway and stay ahead of me without exiting at the nearest exit. I did not change my speed, limit + 5 real MPH. I have had them pass me but they either pull off or stop or slow down. I am just saying. I don't know it it is the motorcycle rough to ride or the rider not up to it.

In west Texas I was running 85-90, real MPH not Honda MPH, and I saw a headlight coming up on me. It was a new Indian. He passed me but only stayed ahead for a few miles before he had to back off and I continued my speed to just east of El Paso. Never saw him again.

I expect my RSVS to serve me just as well. The first 4,000 miles show that it will.

Now that the thread moved from cruise control to speed to fuel milage to ice cream to speed again, how many of you folks are doing 120mph with your first gens? I have found that I get much better gas mileage when I'm easy taching the bike too, and I like ice cream also but over 85mph, my front end feels swimmy like it it isn't stabile. Not quick to dampen out an oscillation in steering angle
