TOP Reasons Why To Go To The WNY Rally!!

First of all, besides it being a Super Great time, there is NO Registration fee!! All you have to do is sign up on the calendar!

 

Secondly, absolutely NO charge for camping!! Plenty of nicely maintained grass to camp on, and indoor bathroom (Washroom for you Canucks) facilities, both men and women's room.

 

There are two modest motels within walking distance from the event grounds!

 

There are three eating establishments very close by, one being practically next door to the event grounds! Several other places to eat well within a mile radius!

 

Parts, accessories, and service (if needed) for your Yamaha as well as Spyders and several other brands across the street from the event grounds! Can't say enough about the WONDERFUL people at Pioneer Motorsports, our sponsors!

 

This is the only Venturerider event that I know of that has a live band!! Saturday evening's concert is also free, but we may or may not have to pass the hat for voluntary (not mandatory) contributions to help pay for the band, depending on how well the raffles and 50/50's go. Last year we did NOT have to pass the hat!

 

Plenty of fun games, raffles, and events!!!

1st off YES this is a great event.......

 

2nd it is a "washroom." It has a sink, to wash in. It is not a "bathroom". It does NOT have a tub or shower to bathe in!

Also this years rally is dedicated to the late, great "Freaken Jonesy" this was one of his favorite rally's. So come spend a couple of days with Jonesy.

Why yes RR, that is also a good reason to come! I'm not done with this thread, there are many more reasons to come that I will be listing, as well as possibly comments from others as why to come!!!

Another great reason, I hear the gang has Hot Sex around the camp fire. I can't talk about it, but I have been to their Rally more then a few years, and always love it.

and now perhaps the most arcane reason of all to go - its the reason that has proven to have given me some of the most deeply satisfying fun when traveling cross country on Tweeks with Tip, one of my kids or even by myself.. Gonna sound a little goofy but that's ok, I know I am among friends here so I can say it and not get in to much trouble... Ready?

There, I said it and guess what,, I really aint never have been to no WNY Rally before and would LOVE to finally make one.. If your reading this and your a newbie to our group of lop eared varmints, have never been to one of our rally's and even remotely considering it I would encourage you to make the leap and head attaway - take the plunge cause,,, well,, cause why not head that way cause you aint never been that way before?

For anyone who has not been to this Meet, it is really a great event! You can do as much riding and sightseeing as you want or do very little if you want. The venue is beautiful, plenty of room for camping and BS'ing too. Pioneer Motorsports is a destination all its own with plenty to see and do. Really cant say enough about this rally, the organizers do a great job of entertaining everyone, you will have a great time!!

Well if you hadn't tried smuggling in ammo and getting caught doing so then you'd breeze right thru like the rest of us. Musta really hid that gun well cause they didn't find one. After that episode you're on their radar now. You could always go the long way too.

Actually, it wasn't that at all it was all over an arrest in 1980 in which all charges were dropped, apparently it still shows the event when they run my ID I'd need to hire a lawyer to have it expunged from my records. That's all.

Yet another great reason to come to the Rally, we are going to do a "First" at this year's festivities, go to a drive-in on our motorcycles!! Thursday evening is going to be dinner and the movies! Of course, if you don't want to have dinner (AND ICE CREAM) at the Charcoal Corral, or if you think it is too far to have to come back at night, there is also a drive-in just down the street from the event grounds, the Delevan Drive-In, open under new management!

Another good reason to attend is that I will not serve Fermented Shark this year. Kind of lost a lot of good friends last time I did that (Kristjan "krben" made me do it)

Saturday night at 08:00 there will of cause be some Icelandic Black Death. Still trying to work out a deal to sneak over from Iceland but won´t know untill last minute. Regardless the Black Death will be there as usual.
