Engine versus VIN #

So a potential buyer for my bike wants to see a history report. Like a carfax report. I tell him, ok I will find one and send it to him. I find several places that will create the report, but, here is the twist. Every report that I look at, after I enter my VIN #, claims that my engine is a 1600 cc as opposed to the 1294 cc it is supposed to be.

 

Am I missing something???

Nope, sounds like their databases need updating. I think they are confusing the stratoliner with the Venture, although the strat is a 1700cc I think. On that part, I would have a local dealer verify the database is incorrect for them.

Database somewhere was wrong and they're either all using it or got their information from the same wrong source.

 

But you could just tell the buyer it's a rare 1600cc and raise the price......
