He was pretty remarkable. I agree that it's sad what Alzheimers does to people. Thanks for the post. I really enjoyed that. I continue to play the guitar for my own enjoyment. It does NOT come natural to me and I will never be good. It is sort of my way to relax though. Never play for anybody...just me.

Sad to hear he passed R.I.P Mr Campbell.

 

I watched a special on him when he did (or attempted to do) his last performance and it was all about him and his Alzheimers and what it was doing to him. Very sad indeed!

I don't think that he has passed away. He's in the final stages of the terrible disease and it just unable to talk any longer.

Saw him in Sioux Falls a number of years ago, was a great show, great showman, singer, and musician!
