There was just no room at the front. I'm butchering the lifters in the process. so far I've been working on just the 2 cyl 3 exhaust lifters I'm going to pull the heads regardless. I'm thinking if I can push the valves up then it might be easier to remove the lifters....giving better access to grind the head as required. As it is now I can't get to all of it.
