Skid Posted April 2, 2016 #1 Posted April 2, 2016 Today I joined the group of working class people. I now get a paycheck and pay taxes again just for the fun of it.
BlueSky Posted April 2, 2016 #2 Posted April 2, 2016 Now your wife can afford all that new furniture and appliances that she wanted.
mraf Posted April 2, 2016 #5 Posted April 2, 2016 Today I joined the group of working class people. I now get a paycheck and pay taxes again just for the fun of it. So whats the job? Safe cracker, driver for bank holdups, hitman, arsonist, dwi driver, politician, embezzler, kidnapper, you have been a trooper long enough I just figured you needed a change to the other side thats all. Good luck whatever it is.
Skid Posted April 2, 2016 Author #6 Posted April 2, 2016 Well I've been detailing cars for a couple years now for "cash under the table" but I have expanded my adventures to a contract job cutting grass for the US Government. This will not interrupt my riding season or once a month vacations so its not a bad gig.

Phew,,,, thankfully I ride a 1st Gen so I don't have to worry about getting pulled over by a Copper on a riding mower..,, now those 2nd Gen guys,,,, ohhhh never mind,, CONGRATS SKIDDER - hope it all works just PERFECT for you!!
Skid Posted April 2, 2016 Author #8 Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) Puc, you are no danger of getting caught. My Deere isn't as fast as a First Gen. LOL Edited April 2, 2016 by Skid
Yammer Dan Posted April 2, 2016 #9 Posted April 2, 2016 Hey I got a Deere now along with the Cub Cadet. An't got no excuse now but a pretty good sized lot to mow.
Venturous Randy Posted April 2, 2016 #10 Posted April 2, 2016 I kept waiting for this to be Skid's April Fools joke. Randy
Skid Posted April 2, 2016 Author #11 Posted April 2, 2016 I kept waiting for this to be Skid's April Fools joke. Randy No joke, I actually have a legitimate paying job that takes about two hours every other week
Yama Mama Posted April 2, 2016 #12 Posted April 2, 2016 That is great news SKID. Since I retired I have taken on the thankless jobs of cleaning, cooking, laundry, yard work, and general needs at home for no money at all. Oh, wait a minute, I have always done those jobs besides my full time job. Oh well. I am happy for you at least. Yama Mama
etcswjoe Posted April 2, 2016 #13 Posted April 2, 2016 I thought maybe that DQ in front of your house had finally go the best of you.
Skid Posted April 3, 2016 Author #15 Posted April 3, 2016 I have to hide from people to keep down the numbers of detailings now but at least I have another excuse to limit them now. I just use the odd jobs to pay for my bike trips.
WildBill1 Posted April 3, 2016 #16 Posted April 3, 2016 I was a "Rookie Retiree", now I'm a "Hardcore Retiree". After being retired since 2010 what's Work not in my vocabulary.
Yammer Dan Posted April 3, 2016 #17 Posted April 3, 2016 You can practice on my weeds if you need. What is this grass stuff?? Ain't that agin the Law??
