Doug royal86 Posted March 29, 2016 #1 Posted March 29, 2016 I went for a short ride tonight ans going down the flat cement road kept feeling a slight pull to the right. It was not constant just a few times. This made me feel a little uneasy. I slowed down and took a little grip off the handle bars and no wobble.. Just not sure what it was.. Possible fork oil low one one side?
djh3 Posted March 30, 2016 #2 Posted March 30, 2016 Bleed the front brakes. Just to make sure you dont have a caliper that is retain pressure.
Venturous Randy Posted March 30, 2016 #3 Posted March 30, 2016 My bike used to do that and I found I wasn't sitting in the center of the seat. Randy
djh3 Posted March 31, 2016 #4 Posted March 31, 2016 My bike used to do that and I found I wasn't sitting in the center of the seat. Randy' LOL I guess that could do it too. Or here in a day or so he will post something about "my side car......
Flyinfool Posted March 31, 2016 #6 Posted March 31, 2016 I have had a pull to the left since I bought my bike. That pull has persisted thru 2 sets of brakes, 3 sets of tires, new front springs and oil checking and measuring everything looking for a tweaked frame. I even tried intentionally sitting off to both sides of the seat, and loading 20 lbs in just one side bag. Nothing could make it go away, and now I have learned to live with it, now if I get on a bike that does not pull it feels weird. But since your pull seems to come and go, that indicates an issue that needs to be found. With the bike on the center stand lift the front wheel off the ground and check the steering head bearings for any resistance or notchyness and for proper tightness.
