Condor Posted September 4, 2016 Share #52 Posted September 4, 2016 (edited) My '83VR was my first Yamaha. Since then I've bought and sold another '83VR look alike. Also picked up a few more. A '93VR, a '91VR Tux., a 90VR, an '87VR, and a 83/84/86VR. I'm also feeding a '99RSV, a '04RSMV, and an '07RSV. eagleeye Posted September 10, 2016 Share #55 Posted September 10, 2016 There have been a few posts about the bikes that we started with or have owned but how about just Yamaha bikes? I don't have pictures of all of mine but here are a few from the past. I can think of an '83 Venture Standard that I can't find a picture for and also a Yamaha 200 street model years ago...it was a 4 stroke but I don't remember the model. Probably more too but I don't remember. Oh....and a 535 Virago.... I think your missing one

jeromeb Posted September 27, 2018 Share #67 Posted September 27, 2018 Didn't own it per say. I did rid one for a fellow a few times @ races. I think it was a YZ 100 https://www.venturerider.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=104725 Had a RD 350. Scary fast for me at the time. Expansion chambers, and "slider clutch". You could almost drop the clutch from stand still and it would slip, motor rev and almost pull wheel but GLH !!! https://www.venturerider.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=104726 750 virago. I think it had a pillow top seat too. LOL For a small CC bike it rode nice on highway. https://www.venturerider.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=104727 Oh yea and the 09 RSV I just traded. None of the pics are of my actual bikes. I think thats it for the Yamahas. One look at the 1973 RD350 brought back memories. My first new motorcycle. I definitely had to sit forward on the seat. That was one fast and wheel standing little bike. I had to keep a set of one heat range cooler spark plugs when hit the highway on trips of 200+ miles. It was no problem keeping up with the bigger bikes.
