is it possible to plug in a hand held CB mic? If it is where would I find such an animal?

If you are looking for a cb mic....highway truck stops would have them.

As for connecting it....I don't think you can. The bike cabling is a c-bus and you'd have to put together an adapter so that it matches the pin-outs on the mic.

Once upon a time, there were some on the market but that was long ago. You may eventually find one used somewhere but they are pretty rare.

You can build an adapter fairly easy, I have posted pictures and diagrams before on how to do it, I will search for them when I get home this evening.
