Lug Nut Posted March 5, 2016 #1 Posted March 5, 2016 I put my tires (Dunlop Elite stock sizes) at 38 front and 41 rear just like indo on my Roadie. Is this correct? I am 250 lbs and my passenger when she goes is 130 lbs (maybe an extra 20 lbs in the bags). Also, the air suspension has been set by a bike shop by the previous owner but I wanted to know what the correct air pressure front and back for the suspension. Thanks
Bert2006 Posted March 5, 2016 #2 Posted March 5, 2016 We weight about the same as you do and run the following: 1 up= 36 front and 40 rear for tires. 3 in front forks and 36 in rear shock 2 up= 36 front and 42 rear for tires. 3 in front forks and 40 in rear shock
Lug Nut Posted March 5, 2016 Author #3 Posted March 5, 2016 Thanks....that's what bi was thinking but needed a starting point.
Bert2006 Posted March 6, 2016 #4 Posted March 6, 2016 Also remember to only use a zero loss hand pump for the suspension. Otherwise you will blow out the bladders. I got mine at the local HD dealer for about 40 bucks.
Lug Nut Posted March 11, 2016 Author #5 Posted March 11, 2016 Got my air pump on Amazon....fronts has 10 and 12 respectively rear had 20. When I picked up the bike tires were also low...down around 28 psi. I put tires at 38 front and 41 rear and aire suspension to 5 front and 35 rear. Feels good so far.
