kevin-vic-b.c. Posted February 24, 2016 #2 Posted February 24, 2016 I am thinking of hitting a local marine outlet to see what they have when it comes time for me to update my speakers. Maybe some has some brand names out there though
dave_wells Posted February 24, 2016 #3 Posted February 24, 2016 Sierra electronics might have something I just removed the cassette player and made it a box for my wallet .Then I moved the audio in down next to a accessory plug also ran one to the trunk along with an accessory plug. Most of what I listen to is MP3 off the phone or GPS
sho_greg Posted February 27, 2016 #4 Posted February 27, 2016 I put a Kenwood m312bt in my cassette space.. trimmed a little plastic off the bottom of mount wrapped it with chrom fender trim.. came out ok.. They also make a remote for the unit that has a LCD display. Popular speakers are Polks... but I installed Planet Audio 4" speakers- so far so good.. they have a aimable/moveable silver tweeter that looks pretty cool through the speaker cover. I put them in all 4 locations. I think they were like $20 a pair...
Lug Nut Posted February 27, 2016 Author #5 Posted February 27, 2016 I'm planning on the water proof 4in Polk and a Rockford amp....just unsure of what kind of head unit....
