nickle Posted April 9, 2008 #1 Posted April 9, 2008 hey i put new gaskets on mufflers where slips on. then checking them with engine running. i found the mufflers have three holes on the bottom which i thoight where drain holes . but they all three on both sides have pressure exhause leaks . is this normal .i have a 02 venture . and i am a half way self do it your self guy.

Squidley Posted April 10, 2008 #4 Posted April 10, 2008 If I'm not mistaken the holes are there so that condensation can be released so the pipes dont rust out from the inside out...no worries.
nickle Posted April 10, 2008 Author #5 Posted April 10, 2008 ok thanks. that makes sense. have allmost 30000 miles on it first time i notice it. i still don't like starting the bike up with out riding it untill it warms up to operating temp. gives me a excuse to ride any how.
