I need recommendation for a good contact cleaner for the large connector going to my 86 venture solenoids. I traced air suspension problems to the connector, tried a head cleaner that seemed to work but the problem came back. I don't think the cleaner did a good enough cleaning job.

Does anyone know of a good way to clean those pesky contacts in the connector?

Chris...got your email...I'm at work but will msg U bak with the product I used this evening. FYI...I got it at an electronics supplies store...small spray can...cost appx $9 up here. They had several different kinds so I explained to the guy what I needed it for and he recommended the one I got would be best.

CRC is good stuff, several kinds for different applications, just make sure it is plastic safe. Chemtronics makes a good cleaner, but more expensive, geared for high end applications where certification is needed or desired.

Per GeorgeS' recomendation I went out and tried to find CRC 2-26, but couldn't. What I did end up with is CRC's QD Electronic Cleaner. Works good. The QD is for quick dry... Probably the same stuff???
