There was another thread here about the CD changer. I would like to get rid of it and put something more modern in it but maintain the original audio controls of the bike. So I have been doing some searching and found this.

I first found it on eBay and then I seen the part number so I did a search on that....

Just wondering if anyone has tried this.

have others replaced the CD changer.

Larry, that set up, or very much like it, is what came on the new Ventures for 2013/2012 models and maybe a year or two prior to that. Mine has it but I have never used it as I bluetooth into my helmet. These bikes were set up to have the I-Simple w/Ipod in the left saddlebag.

The only drawbacks i have found.

1. it requires the 40 pin ipod/iphone.

2. it only shows 1-1 on the display.

3. no way to change playlist/albums/artist only tracks if you start a playlist you can only change out of it when you stop.
