My pictures are disappearing?

Noticed today that for a good portion of my old posts the pictures that had been attached have disappeared. Here is one for example where this has occurred.

Any reason for that?

It looks like 1 year is the cutoff. anything more than 1 year old the pics are gone.

 

There are a lot of how to threads that just became a lot less useful.

I don't know when this happened. Had to be during the update to the new software back in the fall of 2014 or an upgrade since then. It may be a pain to get them back but certainly possible because I have a backup still that I did right before the update to the site. I am going to have to find some help to do it though. I have submitted a ticket to the software developer to find out what needs to be done.
