cowpuc Posted January 30, 2016 #1 Posted January 30, 2016 Figured with the latest outbreak of Cabin Fever that is working its way across North America, I would take a few minutes and do my part in the spirit of Marital support for all my friends.
Freebird Posted January 30, 2016 #2 Posted January 30, 2016 I saw no problem with any of that. That's the way we are supposed to do things. I'm just happy to see that your Christmas decorations are still up....now I don't feel so bad about mine. Glad to see that you don't read instructions either. It's the mark of a real man. If you had actually read them, we would have had to ask that you turn in your man card.
SilvrT Posted January 30, 2016 #3 Posted January 30, 2016 Instructions??? we don't need no stinkin instructions!!!
Yama Mama Posted January 30, 2016 #4 Posted January 30, 2016 Thank you Cowpuc for the video. It made it so much more understandable, now why you men do not read the stinkin instructions. I am just glad that most of us women do read recipes, because we cannot always tack a hacksaw to our pot roast. However, I probably could have used one on some of the things I have made in my life time. Good video, I have never met Tippy, but I know I would love her if I did. You both are priceless, and Ventureriders are so lucky to have people like you in the group. Yama Mama
Marcarl Posted January 30, 2016 #5 Posted January 30, 2016 I have a whole drawer full of instructions. When something looks kind of complicated to put together, I hand the instructions to Marca and then proceed to assemble. She has this filing system that seems to work for her, but when things go aerie and I need to contemplate some writings from China in English I grab the top set of filings to make an attempt at being smart in my wife's eyes. Very seldom do the explanations match up with the mishmash of parts that are available. Hench I don't bother to read much and my favourite tool is the banger. I have different sizes for different jobs, because I found out as well, that just having one and using it on everything can often complicate things even more by the added parts that become available in the process.
The Tooch Posted January 30, 2016 #6 Posted January 30, 2016 I'm lucky "My Boss" loves IKEA........so most of the stuff I have to assemble. I can say, "No I didn't read the instructions!"........."There's nothing to read! It only comes with cartoons!"
mirider Posted January 30, 2016 #7 Posted January 30, 2016 Puc - once again you have brightened the doldrums of winter. [emoji1]
Yammer Dan Posted January 30, 2016 #8 Posted January 30, 2016 I've learned a trick for that. Stick the instructions in my pocket!! If I run into problems I have to make trip to the bathroom.....
Flyinfool Posted January 30, 2016 #9 Posted January 30, 2016 I've learned a trick for that. Stick the instructions in my pocket!! If I run into problems I have to make trip to the bathroom..... Your man card is in jeopardy.................. Instructions are for those that have no clue of things. I must have at least 15 sizes between the LFH and the BFH so that I always have the right tool for the job. So I can do anything.
bluestar99 Posted January 30, 2016 #10 Posted January 30, 2016 Nice vidio Puc. You must do a lot of "hack" jobs. I noticed you had 2 hacksaws in that drawer.
Yama Mama Posted February 1, 2016 #11 Posted February 1, 2016 Hack is such a great word, isn't it? It has so many possibilities. It could be you are trying to cough up something really gross and have been carrying in the deepest part of your lungs for months, or you are trying to invade someone's computer files with out their knowledge. Or in Cowpuc's case, just putting together something for Tippy. Love that word. Yama Mama
