Bike Names

I didn't attach any name to my bike. My riding friends started calling it the "black beast" and so that's its name

I call my 84 Standard Lazarus because it was brought back from the dead, but shes a girl lol

i have 2 bikes, "The VFR" and "The RSV"

I named mine ICE as when I got home from buying it was buried in a deep coat of ice. Had a real hard time getting the straps off of it. Took days for it to thaw

My 96 was Ethel so the 97 had to be Lucy.

I call mine Big Red :cool10:also but the wife has called it a number of names in the past that I do not dare mention here...this being a family friendly site and all:stirthepot:. She has now come around after a few pleasant rides with her on Big Red .

I don't have a name for my bike though in honor of the first owner who practically gave it to me I considered naming it after him. Then when I thought how it would sound to people asking what I had been up to I figured telling them I took Ed for a long ride would be met with some weird looks.

To date all the vehicles I had names for are in the scrap yard, but we did name our GPS after my wife's grandmother who was a whiz at directions. Even after dementia set in and she sent you via some weird route, we mostly wound up where we were going.

I've kept it pretty simple:

 

2012 Venture: Big V

2009 Tour Deluxe: TD

Wife's 2010 650: Reddy

1st son's 2009 650: Whitey

2nd son's 2009 950: 950

2009 250: crowbar (the tool I use to get it unstuck from my butt after I ride it)

 

3rd son and 1st daughter aren't old enough yet. There'll be more eventually.

Many of our members are surprised when I show up at their home on my 83 venture standard. For some reason they think you can't ride them on gravel.

Naming mine visitation would mess up my records though.

I had that same problem and I think Flyinfool, gave me advice, I could be wrong on the person.

Open the picture up in your computer, and resave it, I did this and it worked for me.

 

So a bunch of women on brooms LOL
