Just Droped My Bike Off At The Dealers In Yorksire Ny With My List Of Demands For Warrenty Work To Be Performed.. I Expected To Do Battle To Have This Work Done... Because Of All Of You I Actually Must Have Sounded Like I Knew What I Was Talking About,ClUTCH Baskets ,seals.wireing Connectors Etc..etc...now You Must Understand I Know Nothing About Motors And Such. Couldnt Tell The Differance Between A Standard Widget From A Henway.to My Surprise I Was Told Not To Worry About A Thing He Would Contact Yamaha Tomorrow. bongobobny Posted April 9, 2008 #5 Posted April 9, 2008 Hey Tom, the pleasure was all mine!! My wife walked in literally right after you left! You must have bumped in to her as you were walking out. She drives that Inferno Red '02 Intrepid R/T that was parked in front of the door. Come to find out, that guy behind the counter, Hank, is the son of my cousin who also works at Moog! Small world! My new Elite II will be in next week. Fer sure we will do a lot of riding this summer. Lots of events for you to attend as well. BTW that sure is a pretty ride you have.

cecdoo Posted April 10, 2008 #8 Posted April 10, 2008 Well I got the call from my local dealer today, my clutch basket is in, they are going to install it next week. They never heard of this problem before, but when they called Yamaha to check on my questions, Yamaha agreed there was an issue and agreed to replace with the "I" basket. So far they have been great to deal with, hopefully I will feel the same way after they worked on the bike?? Let me know how yours works out. thanks Craig
bongobobny Posted April 11, 2008 #9 Posted April 11, 2008 I agree, Tom, Pioneer Motorsports is a very good dealership. I can remember them in their old location, small building but good service...
