Freebird Posted January 20, 2016 #1 Posted January 20, 2016 OK folks, for those of you who missed the chat room, the new one is installed and ready to use. I will probably do some tweaking on it here and there but it is fully functional. It seems to be a whole lot faster loading and working than the old one was. It should also work on your mobile phones, pads, etc. There is a link in the upper menu bar, near the right end, that is labeled VR Chat. When you click on that you should be automatically logged in so long as you are logged in here as well. I don't think we need two different chat rooms so I have removed the "ShoutBox" that was at the beginning of the forum. Actually I have only disabled it for now. If anybody really liked it, I will enable it again but otherwise I will completely remove it in the near future. Let me know how the new one works and/or if you see anything missing that you can't live without. I don't know how much I can do about it but am willing to try.
cowpuc Posted January 20, 2016 #2 Posted January 20, 2016 Works GREAT only I left it for a while, it logged me out automatically and I lost my All Star Status so now I am normal again.. Did get my ability to use the "Sounds" again though and think I found out why that feature was not working - ya gotta double click on the word inside the little box to get it to broadcast REALLY neat set up Bossman,, gonna be a LOT of fun!!

Of course that moves the VRGallery and Donation buttons to the right and now they are accessible so it just depends on what is more important to everybody. There is a mobile phone plugin that I have installed for the chat but I'm not sure is working correctly. Still looking into that. It also appears that sounds do not work on the phones.

I could not see it when it was on the right with my iPad but I knew where it was right next to the search button and if I was very carefull, I could just catch the edge of it with my finger to make it open and get in. Now that you moved it to the left I can't see it at all on the iPad and I can't get in.....just an FYI Freebird. I can live without chat.

You have to access it from the forum. Go to the forum or home page and click the VR Chat link. When I do that on my iPhone, it logs me right in.

I am still tweaking things and one tweak made them go bye bye. You shouldn't waste your time uploading another one at this time because I'm still working on it. The fact is, when you forum logs you in, it should import the avatar from here. Once I figure out why that's not working, you won't have to upload one there anyway.
