zoomjay Posted January 18, 2016 #1 Posted January 18, 2016 I have an 88 1300 that I am working on. I had to remove the radiator and would like to replace the water hoses when I put it back together although do not see any listed on ebay (okay, I am a slave to ebay). Are they a standard size (aka can I just go to the autoparts store and pick up some straight hoses or do I have to pay the price for yamaha ones? Thanks
M61A1MECH Posted January 18, 2016 #2 Posted January 18, 2016 A few years back there was a fellow on here that posted a method for heat forming straight radiator hoses so they would fit a first Gen because he could not buy them. You maybe able to find his posts if you search for them.

Flyinfool Posted January 18, 2016 #6 Posted January 18, 2016 $1 USD = 79.2975 Russian Rubble. That hose set is for the VMAX, anyone know how close that is to a 1st gen Venture?

Ozlander Posted January 23, 2016 #11 Posted January 23, 2016 I ordered a set. I figured for 34 bucks, enough would fit to make to worth while. I let you know what happens. Mine are 27 years old, seem to be in good shape, but who knows?
