Can I swap the front wheel rim, disc etc complete from a Mark I to a Mark II

I have a good tire on my parts bike...not sure if it will fit as is or if I have to unmount and remount the Mark I tire onto the Mark II rim

EDIT:

I have an AVON Venom X brand new tire for the back but the dealer won't install it because the date code says its an 09.

They want overf $600 for a new pair!!!!!!!

How important is the date code anyway. I've heard folks talk about it...but REALLY???!!!!!

The rims are interchangeable and identical, except the 1983 is slightly smaller width and the 1990 and newer are not black.

The brake discs on the other hand are not interchangeable. While one version will bolt onto the wheel of the other version with no problem, the MKI brake rotor/disc is too large in diameter to fit onto the MKII forks with calipers.

The tire industry itself recommends not using a tire over 6 years old on any vehicle, including cars, due to the decomposition of the tire material. Older tires have been known to come apart and cause death...

Over $600 for a pair of tires? You need a new dealer.

Date code is important. after 6-7 years the rubber is breaking down and getting hard which means slippery, harder rubber will also start cracking instead of flexing and could cause a blowout at the worst possible time.
