My Dad had a 30-30 bite him like that once. Left a pretty good cut / bruise.

I had a spear gun that I bought at a yard sale when I used to live in the Keys that I was shooting at a piece of 3/4 plywood in the backyard. The spear went through the plywood at about 20', and I had the fat lip to prove it.

Ya can't fix stoopid.
